Terms of Service

Welcome to THE EVENT CONNECT LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our event planning and coordination services. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Services Overview

THE EVENT CONNECT LLC provides professional event planning, coordination, and management services for weddings, corporate events, social celebrations, and other special occasions in Orlando, Central Florida, and throughout the state of Florida.

2. Service Agreement

All services are subject to a separate written Service Agreement that outlines the specific scope of work, timeline, deliverables, and compensation. These Terms supplement the Service Agreement. In case of conflict, the Service Agreement shall prevail.

3. Booking and Deposits

3.1 Reservation

Your event date is reserved only upon receipt of a signed Service Agreement and the required deposit payment. We reserve the right to release tentatively held dates if a deposit is not received within the specified timeframe.

3.2 Deposit

A non-refundable deposit of 25% of the total service fee is required to secure your date. This deposit is applied toward your final balance and is non-refundable under any circumstances.

4. Payment Terms

4.1 Payment Schedule

Payment schedules are outlined in your Service Agreement. Typically, the remaining balance is due in milestone payments, with the final payment due no later than two (2) weeks before the event date.

4.2 Late Payments

Payments not received by the due date may incur a late fee of 5% per week. Services may be suspended if payments are more than 14 days past due.

4.3 Accepted Methods

We accept payment via credit card, bank transfer, check, or other methods specified in your Service Agreement.

5. Cancellation Policy

5.1 Client Cancellation

• The initial 25% deposit is non-refundable regardless of cancellation timing.
• Cancellation more than 90 days before the event: 50% of remaining balance may be refunded at our discretion.
• Cancellation within 90 days of the event: No refund of any payments made.

5.2 Company Cancellation

In the unlikely event that we must cancel our services, we will provide maximum possible notice and refund all payments received.

6. Rescheduling

Event rescheduling requests are subject to availability. A rescheduling fee may apply depending on the timing of the request and the new event date. We will work with you to accommodate changes when possible.

7. Client Responsibilities

Clients are responsible for:

• Providing accurate and timely information
• Making decisions and approvals within agreed timelines
• Ensuring all vendors and venues are properly contracted and paid
• Communicating any changes or concerns promptly
• Adhering to the payment schedule

8. Limitation of Liability

THE EVENT CONNECT LLC acts as a coordinator and facilitator. We are not liable for the actions, errors, or omissions of third-party vendors, venues, or service providers. Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services. We strongly recommend event insurance for comprehensive protection.

9. Force Majeure

Neither party shall be liable for failure to perform due to circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government actions, or other force majeure events.

10. Intellectual Property

Design concepts, planning materials, and event documentation created by THE EVENT CONNECT LLC remain our intellectual property. Clients may not reproduce or distribute these materials without written permission.

11. Photography and Testimonials

We may request permission to photograph your event for portfolio and marketing purposes. You may opt out of this usage at any time. We may also request testimonials which you are under no obligation to provide.

12. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Florida. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Orange County, Florida.
